John este un asasin retras, care este nevoit sa isi reinceapa activitatea, din considerente ce tin de onoare. "Filmul te va face sa-ti doresti sa vezi si urmatorul capitol, inca nescris", au scris bloggerii despre filmul recent vizionat:

Contrar celor afirmate despre brutalitatea filmului, am asemuit totul unui joc video, pentru ca desi John Wick a zburat creierii la o armata de bodyguarzi, eu mi-am mancat linistita floricelele.

Keanu Reeves nu pare un asasin platit; este formal, manierat si fara urma de cruzime in privire. Cam acesta este profilul noului asasin profesionist, cu un fin simt al onoarei si razbunarii. Printre violenta isi fac loc si cateva licariri de afectiune pentru sotia moarta sau caine, cateva scene amuzante de armistitiu intre rivali.

Paleta de actori buni imbunatateste instantaneu actiunea si ii poti admira pe Ian McShane ( Winston), Lance Reddick (Charon), Franco Nero (Julius),  Common (Cassian). Prezente notabile feminine: Ruby Rose (Ares) si Claudia Gerini (Gianna D’Antonio), ambele seducatoare, malefice si letale.  While the first John Wick kept things simpler, the second movie goes deeper, further and bigger. The formula is still the same, Keanu Reeves creates a very convincing ruthless killer devoid of any joy, trying to figure out a way to retire, but then there's no retirement for hired guns, ever.

What makes John Wick tick ? For me it's the unique visual style, but the praised action scenes, the fighting choreography and the believable characters all come together to make one of the most well designed action movies of this decade, I dare say that.
The cast in this movie is insanely rich, Keanu Reeves having to act against talents like his friend from The Matrix, Lawrence Fishburne, the up and coming Ruby Rose and rapper Common, and also returning the awesome Ian McShane, Lance Reddick and John Leguizamo. With names like that, you've got your success guaranteed. Not only that, but despite going against Fifty Shades Darker, it still managed to gross over 40 million US dollars worldwide and receiving amazing praise. Mi-a placut mult filmul, regizat de Chad Stahelski- cunoscut pentru Matrix, 300, V for Vendetta si Constantine. John Wick este un asasin care vrea sa renunte si nu poate. Interesant este universul creat in film, in care pana si asasinii au onoare, reguli si dau dovada de curtoazie ... profesionala. Filmul are misterul sau si este realizat artistic.
